A small studio with a strong signal

Zerobeat Games is an independent game studio in Bø i Vesterålen, a small community on the Arctic coast of Norway — mountains straight out of the sea, wild weather, and the northern lights all winter.

The studio is run by Christian Antonsen, a developer and radio amateur. We make entertainment first: fast, colourful games that are easy to jump into and hard to put down, starting on Roblox.

Why “Zerobeat”?

When you tune a radio to exactly the same frequency as another station, the beat tone between the two signals drops to zero. Radio amateurs call it zero beat: a perfect match. That is what we aim for with every game — controls, timing and fun, all spot on.

Why CQ?

CQ is the call a radio amateur sends when they want to talk to anyone who is listening. Our logo sends it in Morse code: — · — ·   — — · —. Every game we release is a CQ call. We hope you answer.
